I had a talk yesterday with a journalist from 'The Monitor'. This is a tv program that investigates situations when the government is doing things wrong. They also have a big website. (http://demonitor.ncrv.nl/)
She wants to investigate the DT&V. They will first write an article on the website about it. If there are enough reactions, than they make a documentary for on TV.

We are looking for people who want to tell about the DT&V and about how the employees of the DT&V do their work. Now of course we all know that the DT&V is trying to send people back (which is their work according to the government), so it is not about them sending people back, but on HOW they try to do this.
You and I know that the DT&V often uses intimidation (that they try to scare people), but also that they are lying and trying to send people back who have the right to be here. For example: some time ago, the DT&V tried to scare a single mother, while her daughter has a residence permit and they don't have the right to send the mother back. Another example: refugees at Emmen who did a demonstration last year, all had a letter or talk with the DT&V telling them that they should not demonstrate.
So this is about moments when the DT&V is doing unlawful things.

I hope many people want to tell their stories, so that the journalist has enough stories to start working.

You can do this in three different ways:

- if it is too difficult to write it down, you can call me. I will then record the story. But the problem is that I am quite busy for the coming weeks, so I prefer by mail.
- if it is too difficult to write it down in Dutch, you can also do it in another language. We will then have it translated.

Everything is anonymous. The journalist knows that it is too dangerous to mention names, so you can tell your story anonymous. If you don't want the journalist to know your emailadress, you can mail me. I will send her the story from my email adress. The journalist needs the stories in the coming week, so that she has enough time for investigation afterwards.
